REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

In this section of the Admission Form, unless there is something in the subject or context inconsistent therewith, the following words and expressions shall bear the meanings respectively assigned to them hereunder:-

 

Descriptions


  1. a) “Child” means the child described in this Admission Form whose parent(s)/guardian is applying to enrol him/her as a student in the Kindergarten for a-year session of 11 months for the year 2020.

 

  1. b) “Kindergarten” means Tadika Duta Iman (operated by Duta Iman International Sdn Bhd) including, but not limited to, Little Caliphs Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Little Caliphs Damai Mewah, Little Caliphs Bandar Teknologi Kajang and Little Caliphs Rantau Panjang, Kelantan.

 

  1. c) “Kindergarten Days” means the days on which:-
    any lessons or classes, or any assessments tests or examinations, of or relating to the Programme is being conducted by the Kindergarten,
    ii. any activities or events, which the Child is required to attend or participate in, is being conducted or organised by the Kindergarten; and references to a Kindergarten Day shall mean any such Kindergarten Days

 

  1. d) “Kindergarten Fees” means all fees charges and other money whatsoever, including tuition fees, admission and registration fees, annual or other recurring fees and charges, extra-curricular activities fees which are payable to the Kindergarten from time to time in respect of the Programme and otherwise for the use and enjoyment of the Kindergarten facilities.

 

  1. e) “Kindergarten Hours” means the time during which lessons or other Kindergarten activities or events are being conducted in the Kindergarten during the relevant Kindergarten Days.

 

  1. f) “Kindergarten Regulations” means the policies rules and regulations, restrictions and other guidelines and decisions relating to the conduct of affairs and activities of the Kindergarten and the students of the Kindergarten, relating to the administration management and operation of the Kindergarten, and included, but not limited to, any decisions pertaining to the variation of:
  2. the Kindergarten Fees and the due dates thereof;
    ii. the term and semester and other holidays of the Kindergarten;
    iii. the operating hours of the Kindergarten and its facilities;
    iv. the curriculum of the Programme and the manner, method and system of teaching and conducting the Programme.

 

  1. g) “Parents” means the parent(s)/legal guardian of the Child.

 

  1. h) “Programme” means the Little Caliphs programme, which the Parents are applying to enrol the Child for in the Kindergarten.

 

  1. i) “The CEP” means the Child Enrichment Programme which was exclusively designed for 6 years old Child for Little Caliphs Bandar Tun Hussein Onn to efficiently utilise his/her free time in the afternoon to enhance his/her skills in reading, writing and hafazan.

 

  1. j) “The Extended Program” means the additional daycare service given to the Child in the afternoon as an additional service at the agreed chargeable fee. The Child will be given shower once in the afternoon. However parents should take note that we DO NOT provide full and complete day-care service. As such, the service may not match the standard for full daycare centre.

 

Terms and Conditions


In applying to register and enrol the Child as a student of the Kindergarten, the Parents hereby agree to the following terms and conditions (which following terms and conditions are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Admission Terms”):-

 

  1. That the Parents understand and fully support the Little Caliphs programme in educating the Child.

 

  1. That unless the Child is otherwise excused (whether for medical or other health reasons or for any other reasons acceptable to the Kindergarten) the Child shall be required:-
    a) to attend all lessons and classes of the Programme regularly,
    b) to sit for all assessments tests and examinations of the Programme, and
    c) to participate in all activities and events of the Kindergarten (including all extra-curricular activities and other meets, field and Kindergarten trips) which the Child is required to attend or participate in.

 

  1. That the Child shall be required to attend an orientation Programme (mandatory) at the start of each academic year; and additional tuition if the Kindergarten should find the same to be necessary for the Child; the fees, if any, for conducting the tuition shall be at such rate as the Kindergarten may from time to time prescribe.

 

  1. That the Kindergarten shall be at liberty to use the English Language wholly as its medium of instruction. Teachers shall elaborate and explain in multi-language whenever necessary to enhance Child’s understandings on the sentences and instructions.

 

  1. That the Parents shall use their best endeavour to attend the Kindergarten biannual Report Day where they may collect the Child’s report card and discuss the Child’s progress with the teachers during Parents-Teachers Meet (PTM); and also all other programmes organized by the Kindergarten especially Reading Technique Seminar for Parents, Sports Day and Ihtifal Day.

 

  1. That if the Child shall be unable to attend any Kindergarten Day(s), the Parents shall endeavour to inform the Kindergarten accordingly prior to the start of Kindergarten Hours on that day.

 

  1. That the Parents shall observe and comply with all security guidelines and protocols from time to time issued or maintained by the Kindergarten for the safety of the Child, and, in particular, the Parents shall ensure:-
    a) that the Child is always accompanied to the gate/main entrance of the Kindergarten until a staff of the Kindergarten is able to unlock the gate/main entrance and receive the Child; and
    b) that they collect the Child from the Kindergarten personally or procure that the Child be collected by person(s) previously informed to the Kindergarten as being authorised by the parents to collect the Child. Whereby as arranged by the Kindergarten, the Parents have been issued with identification tag(s) of the person(s) authorised to collect the Child, then the Kindergarten may refuse to allow other person to collect the Child unless the person intending to collect the Child produces such tag identifying himself/herself as being so authorised.

 

  1. That the Parents are aware of the Kindergarten Hours. Accordingly, the Parents:-
    a) shall deliver the Child to the Kindergarten in a timely manner, and
    b) shall collect the Child promptly at the end of Kindergarten Hours. The Kindergarten shall not be responsible for the supervision of the Child left on the Kindergarten premises before or after Kindergarten Hours. If the Parents are unable to collect the Child promptly at the end of Kindergarten Hours, they shall make direct arrangement with the centre principal for the care and keeping of the Child until the Child may be collected, and shall be liable to pay the Kindergarten a fee at such rate as the Kindergarten may from time to time prescribe for the care and keeping of the Child. In the case of the Child requiring special needs, the Parents shall notify the Kindergarten accordingly so that proper arrangements can be made.

 

  1. That the parents are aware of the following:
  2. a) Kindergarten Days during Ramadhan, whereby the Kindergarten hours will be as follows:

Kindergarten Morning           : 8:30 am to 12:00 pm

Afternoon session                 : 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Full-Day (Daycare)               : 7:00 am to 6:30 pm

**Overtime charge starts after 5:30 pm every day during Ramadhan for Little Caliphs Damai Mewah, Little Caliphs Bandar Teknologi Kajang and Little Caliph Rantau Panjang.

  1. b) the Kindergarten will be closed during School & Public Holiday, however the Extended Program (Daycare) for Little Caliphs Damai Mewah, Little Caliphs Bandar Teknologi Kajang and Little Caliph Rantau Panjang will be operated as scheduled.
  2. c) the birthday celebration is allowed on every Wednesday only (2nd & 4th week of the month Only) after morning break.

 

  1. That the Parents are aware of the CEP which was built for 6 years old Child who needs more guidance in hafazan, writing and reading. The CEP was introduced to improve Child’s writing skills and enhance his/her ability in completing hafazan syllabus. Extra reading class for Siri Cepat Baca (SCB), Fast Track English (FTE), Little Qari (LQ), Jawi and Story book will be performed in stages throughout the year. The CEP is only an extra service provided at the chargeable rate and the Child will not have shower. The Child will change his/her clothes and have Qailullah nap for 15 minutes to refresh him/herself before the session. Parents are allowed to pick up the Child at 5.30pm. An additional overtime charge will be applied at the rate of RM15 per hour after 5.30pm.

 

  1. That the Parents are aware that only selected Child will be allowed to join the CEP based on the attitude and performance of the Child.

 

  1. That the Parents shall at all times keep the Kindergarten informed and updated on the Child’s medical, psychological or health conditions, information and history, including, but not limited to, any innate or acquired diseases, illnesses, afflictions or conditions or history of deficiency.

 

  1. That the Kindergarten shall not be liable or otherwise accountable for any harm or injuries brought on or otherwise caused by the Child’s pre-existing medical, psychological or health conditions.

 

  1. In the case of a medical emergency, if the Parents cannot be contacted to give consent, the Kindergarten shall be authorised to permit the Child to be sent to a clinic/medical centre, or otherwise to be treated by a medical doctor, at the cost and expense of the Parents, and the Parents shall indemnify the Kindergarten fully against all such costs and expenses.

 

  1. That the Kindergarten shall not be liable or otherwise accountable for any death, any harm or injury to a person or persons, any loss of or damage to property, or any other liability whatsoever, sustained by the Child within the Kindergarten premises or during any field trip excursion or event outside the Kindergarten premises, which is not attributable to the negligence or other fault of the Kindergarten, its officers, servants agents or employees.

 

  1. That the Parents agree to the Kindergarten’s policy that;
    a) if the Kindergarten finds, in its opinion, that the Child is unfit for any medical or health reasons to attend Kindergarten, or
    b) if the Child is infected with any disease illness affliction or condition which may be contagious or infectious, or
    c) if an outbreak of a contagious or infectious disease illness affliction or condition has occurred at the Kindergarten, then, in any such event, the Kindergarten retains the discretion to send the Child home, or not to allow the Child to attend the Kindergarten for such period as the Kindergarten deems necessary, and neither the Parents nor the Child shall have any claim whatsoever against the Kindergarten in any such circumstances, whether for a refund of the whole or any part of the Kindergarten Fees or otherwise for any loss whatsoever.

 

  1. That the Parents will ensure that the Child comes to the Kindergarten in proper attire according to the guidelines, and is always neat with clean hair, fingernails, ears and nose. The kindergarten accepts child on-diaper, BUT no diaper will be changed during Kindergarten Hours.

 

  1. That if the Child attends Kindergarten, not in compliance with the dress code (especially during communal events) of the Kindergarten, the Child may not be permitted to attend class or participate in a particular activity and may need to wait for the appropriate clothing to be brought from home.

 

  1. That all items of clothing and belongings of the Child must be identified with the Child’s full name. The Kindergarten shall not be liable for the loss of any items belonging to the Child which is not attributable to the fault of the Kindergarten.

 

  1. That the Parents shall be liable and accountable for, and shall indemnify the Kindergarten against all and any harm or injury to person, loss of or damage to property, and/or other liability whatsoever, sustained by any person whosoever is within the Kindergarten premises or during any field trip or event outside the Kindergarten premises, which is attributable to any act, default or omission of the Child.

 

  1. That the Kindergarten may at any time and from time to time, at its sole and absolute discretion, make or vary the Kindergarten Regulations, and the Parents shall comply, and cause the Child to comply, with the Kindergarten Regulations for the time being and from time to time in force (whether such regulations be contained in any parent/student handbook website or elsewhere in any notice announcement circular memorandum or notice board of the Kindergarten).

 

  1. That the Kindergarten reserves the right at any time and from time to time to vary the Admission Terms, whether by additions omissions supplements substitutions or otherwise howsoever.

 

  1. That the continued enrolment of the Child in the Kindergarten is subject to and conditional upon, due compliance by the Parents and the Child with the Admission Terms for the time being and from time to time in force.

 

24.That the Kindergarten reserves the right and discretion to forthwith suspend or cancel the enrolment of the Child or expel the Child or otherwise disallow the Child to attend the Kindergarten, if, in the opinion of the Kindergarten;
a) the Child is unable to participate meaningfully in the curriculum of the Kindergarten or has committed a serious breach of discipline,
b) the Parents and/or the Child has committed a breach of any Admission Terms, and/or
c) the Parents and/or the Child has committed an act or omission which jeopardises, threatens or undermines the health safety, well-being or security of any other members of the Kindergarten and/or the stability or integrity of the Kindergarten or the Programme.

Notwithstanding the above, an overdue of 2 consecutive months in payment of any Kindergarten Fees will result in the loss of placement for the Child.

 

  1. That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the admission and enrolment of the Child as a student of the Kindergarten, whether for the initial or any subsequent academic year or programme of study, is conditional upon the prior fulfilment of the following conditions:-
    a) that this Admission Form shall have been completely signed and submitted to the Kindergarten, and all other entry and application procedure and requirements of the Kindergarten shall have been complied with;
    b) that the Kindergarten shall have conducted a meeting with the Parents and the Child;
    c) that the annual registration fee (hereinafter referred to as the “Annual Registration Fee”), and any other Kindergarten Fees, which are payable by the Parents and/or the Child prior to the start of the initial or subsequent academic year or programme or Programme of study shall have been paid in full.
  2. d) that the Kindergarten shall have given its approval to the admission and enrolment of the Child as a student of the Kindergarten, which approval may be given or refused at the sole and absolute discretion of the Kindergarten.

 

  1. That the Parents are aware of the Kindergarten Fees that are chargeable, and the respective due dates for payment thereof. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Kindergarten Fees are subject to changes, from time to time or at any time, by the Kindergarten. The Parents shall pay the same promptly and in any event by the respective dues for payment thereof.

 

  1. That unless otherwise agreed by the Kindergarten, all payments to the Kindergarten shall be made in Ringgit Malaysia, and by bank transfer to Kindergarten’s bank account, as follows:

27a. That payment proof via Whatsapp or SMS is not acceptable. The payment slips (original receipts) should be attached and emailed to the Child’s respective centre:

Note: For internet banking, please ensure that Parents write the Child’s name and age in the recipient’s reference box.

 

  1. That the Parents are aware that the seat for the Child will only be confirmed after the booking fee of RM 300 is fully paid, of which, fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

  1. That the Annual Registration Fee is to be fully paid latest by5thDecember 2019 (the Invoice for January 2020 Fee will be issued on 23rdDecember 2019 and payable before 5thJanuary 2020). Payment after the said date may affect merchandise delivery for the Child.

 

  1. That the Kindergarten Fees are payable in advance for January 2020 to November 2020 and optional for December 2020 (Extended Program); which should be fully paid latest by 5th of every month (every early of the month). Monthly fee for November 2020 is included in the registration fee.

 

  1. That the Kindergarten Fees must be paid in full and in advance regardless of the absence of the Child from Kindergarten or forced absence of the Child from Kindergarten due to personal reasons (such as mother’s confinement, holidays, Kindergarten breaks, suspensions and the like).

 

  1. That if, at any time after the Child has been enrolled in the Kindergarten, the Parents intend to withdraw the Child as a student of the Kindergarten, they shall give the Kindergarten one month’s prior written notice (hereinafter referred to as the “Stipulated Notice”) of such intention. Minimum fee for absence for 1 month with 1 MONTH PRIOR NOTICE is RM200. No refund of any Kindergarten Fees shall be made;
    a) if no Stipulated Notice shall have been given, or
    b) if the Parents and/or the Child shall be in breach of any Admission Terms or the Child shall have been expelled from the Kindergarten.
    Notwithstanding the above, the Annual Registration Fee and Takaful is non-refundable once the Child has been accepted as a student of the Kindergarten, and is non-transferable.

 

  1. That the Kindergarten reserves the right to take such photographs, images, audio and/or video recordings, works or derivative works of the Child, and to use, free of charge, the same in any media and for whatever purpose, as the Kindergarten deems fit, including, without limitation, for any promotional or publicity materials or purpose and publication in the website of the Kindergarten.

 

  1. That any notice request or other communication to be served made or given to the Parents and/or the Child:-
    a) may be left by hand at the Parent’s address as stated in the student’s registration form or as previously notified in writing to the Kindergarten; or by email at the Parent’s email address as stated in this student’s registration form and
    b) shall be deemed to be duly served made or given as follows:-
    i. if left by hand, at the time of delivery;
    ii. if sent by prepaid registered post, at the expiration of 3 days after the envelope containing the same was delivered into the custody of the postal authorities notwithstanding that it be undelivered or returned undelivered; or
    iii. if sent by email, at the time such email was successfully sent.

 

  1. That all information is given in this Admission Form, and other documents submitted to the Kindergarten, are completely correct and accurate to the best of the Parent’s belief and information.

 

  1. That the Parents shall give written notice to the Kindergarten of any changes in the information given in this Admission Form, or other documents submitted to the Kindergarten, as soon as practicable and in any event within 48 hours of such change.

 

  1. That the Parents shall email or contact the Principal directly should there be any inquiry.
